Q: Who is behind the Skyway project?
A: Skyway is the vision of Toledo entrepreneur Michael Drew Shaw.

A: The goal is to be open around the same time the new I-280 bridge opens.

A: Near the riverfront between the Acme plant and the Maumee River.

Q: How big will Skyway Center be?
A: Three stories with a total of 85,000 square feet plus outdoor patios.

Q: What will be inside?
A: Restaurant, virtual realty games, tourist center, shops, Toledo History Museum, VIP Club and a health & fitness center.

A: Private investors and federal and state grant money.

Skyway Center will be the home of Toledo’s first museum dedicated to the city’s illustrious history. This remarkable showcase is being developed in cooperation with the Main Library Local History Department and historians throughout northwest Ohio.
